Cheerleading clinic
Most people think of pom poms and cheering next to a football field when they think of cheerleading, but we are a bit different, we are competitive cheerleaders! Instead, every year we participate in competitions which involve high intensity stunting, tumbling, jumps and choreography. At the LichtStad Open event we will be proud to show you some of our skills as well as give a workshop on saturday november 29 to teach you some of the basics! We would love to see you there!
Do you want to learn how to do some cool stunts? Come and join us at the cheerleading workshop where we will teach you the basics of flying, basing and backspotting. Hope to see you there!

Over ons
Organisator Harry de Jonge draaide in 1984 zijn eerste bodybuildingwedstrijd, de door Ans en Frans Koene georganiseerde Mr. Lichtstad. Na goedkeuring van Ans en Frans Koene werd in 2022 door Harry en zijn zoon Tim de Jonge eerste editie van Lichtstad Open georganiseerd.
Frank Zegers nam als atleet deel aan wedstrijden van Harry in 2015 en 2016 en raakte daarna betrokken bij het evenement. Tegenwoordig vormen Harry de Jonge, Tim de Jonge en Frank Zegers samen de organisatie achter Lichtstad Open.
Lichtstad Open biedt al meer dan tien jaar een podium aan meerdere krachtsporten en is uitgegroeid tot een van de meest veelzijdige krachtsportevenementen van Nederland. In 2026 vindt alweer de 5e editie plaats op 28 en 29 november.
